The Government of Tuvalu has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the TV: Telecommunications and ICT Development Project (P159395), and intends to apply part of the proceeds for consulting services.

The Project Development Objective is to facilitate improved access to, and reduced cost of, internet services in Tuvalu. The project is implemented by the TTC. A Project Management Unit (PMU) has been established to oversee the project implementation.

The consulting services (“the Services”) include services of the Specialist FTTP design company. The purpose of this assignment is to finalise the detailed network design for Funafuti, utilising existing architecture and planning documents. The assignment will have a duration of 4 months. This is a deliverable based lump sum contract.

The TTC now invites eligible firms (“Consultants”) to indicate their interest in providing the Services. Interested Consultants should provide information demonstrating that they have the required qualifications and relevant experience to perform the Services.
