Gondwana 2 now link Europe closer to Pacific via New Caledonia

After lengthy considerations, FINTEL Fiji was chosen as the landing point for the cable diversity New Caledonia is seeking for its Gondwana submarine cable number one already linking New Caledonia to Australia
This new cable, Gondwana 2 will provide a direct cable link between these two Pacific Island countries, New Caledonia and Fiji, and to their cable networks extending beyond their shores.
More importantly, it can also provide the diversity and alternate routing should any of these two countries face cable outage with their own international links
