With the earlier resignation of Thomas Kijiner Jr in May 2023 as President of PITA, it has left a void in the Executive Committee having Micronesia region un-represented

PITA is pleased to announce that this is now addressed today with the appointment of Ms Steincia Olter-Hawley from the FSM Telecommunications Corporation.

Meanwhile, Phillip Henderson as Vice President of PITA will fulfil the role of Head and Chair of PITA Executive Committee in the absence of the President until it is filled at the PITA 28 AGM election, in April/May 2024.

The Executive Members are now as follows:

• Phillip Henderson – Vice President (Cook Islands)
• Ms Christina Lasaqa – Executive Member (Solomon Islands)
• Semisi Panuve – Executive Member (Tonga)
• Ms Steincia Olter – Executive Member (Federated States of Micronesia (FSM)
